We are a family business with a long tradition in the production of olive oil for over 100 years. The first family olive mill started its operation in 1915 in the Monastery-Aigialeia of the prefecture of Achaia, it was then the time when mules were the driving force for the operation of the olive mill and the human factor played an important role in the whole process of olive oil production. there were no motorized vehicles at that time and everything had to be done manually.

Development

Later in the 1960s and with the development of technology came the era of classic presses with low productivity machines, and several working hands. The oil came out with a lot of effort and took a lot of time. It was then that the family business began to grow and open two more olive mills in Aigeira and Aigai Achaia.

Production Increase

As olives grew year by year, production had to increase, so new machines were constantly added to the production process, and the development of the olive grove throughout Europe made olive mills look more like modern factories.

New technology

Thus, we reach the 1990s, when the company modernizes the entire production line, now using a centrifugal machine for the production of olive oil, with the result that the pressing time of the olive oil is reduced by half and the olive oil is of better quality. With the advent of the new millennium and the continuous development of the technology of the oil mills, the industry has to face the constant challenges from the commitments made by the European Union to our country (environmental conditions, etc.).

Our company in response to the above challenges in 2011 turns the operation of the olive mill from 3 phases to 2 phases, and now we produce a cold pressed olive oil retaining all its quality ingredients.

Το 2014 εκσυγχρονίζουμε πάλι την γραμμή παραγωγής μας με την ποιο σύγχρονη τεχνολογία που υπάρχει στα ελαιουργικά μηχανήματα. Αυτοματοποιημένα συστήματα αλλά και ανοξείδωτα μηχανήματα και δεξαμενές φύλαξης ελαιολάδου με ψυκτικούς θαλάμους σηματοδοτούν μία άριστη ποιότητα ελαιολάδου σύμφωνα πάντα με τους κανονισμούς της Ευρωπαϊκής ‘Ένωσης.

In 2015, the company started operating in the field of standardization of the olive oil it produces, extra virgin category, applying the strictest quality and safety regulations, with its respective certifications, such as HACCP, ISO2200 / 2005, while the EL code has been granted. -40434 from the EU for the exclusive production of Greek olive oil.
